Evidence of The Resurrection

Did you know Eternal Life Is a Gift?

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself how long your life will be? There are many things you can do to help yourself be healthier, but you are only going to live so long. There are not many of us who will still be here 100 years from now!

So go ahead and try to be healthy by eating the healthiest foods you can, exercising, and getting the right medical care. But to live forever -- it's going to take something much more than that.

We need a completely new life that lasts forever!

But how are you going to get that kind of life?

This life can only come from God!

The Bible teaches that God is offering us eternal life. Want to learn more?

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell. He took the punishment we deserve. He rose from the dead three days later and is forever alive!

Now those who are spiritually dead can rise from the dead spiritually because of the life of Christ when He enters within us. And those who are spiritually alive because they have been saved will one day also be resurrected from the dead physically like Jesus was!

In order to receive this new life from God, we must stop trying to earn our way to heaven and instead trust in Jesus Christ alone.  If we are trusting even partially on how good we think or hope we are, that means we are not trusting in Jesus Christ 100%. To be saved from sin, we must trust Jesus Christ 100% instead of even one little teeny bit in ourselves.

Please read the following verses from God's Word which tell about God's wonderful plan of salvation.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

The book of Romans in the New Testament shows us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, no, not one. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

"The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

The Bible tells us that there is only one way to heaven! Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

We are all spiritually bankrupt and cannot pay the price to obtain eternal life. For by grace are you saved by faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9).

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).

Will you just now make a U Turn on the road of your life and turn away from running your own life? Will you trust Jesus Christ right now to save you from your sins?

You can't give yourself eternal life and you cannot earn it either. No one but Jesus can give you eternal life.

The Miraculous Catch of Fish

After Jesus rose again, He showed Himself to his disciples at the Sea of Galilee.

And here's how it happened. Simon Peter and several other disciples had returned to their old business of fishing and they had fished all night, but caught nothing. In the morning, Jesus stood on the seashore, but the disciples didn't recognize Him.

Jesus asked them, "Children, do you have any meat?"

"No," they answered.

Then He commanded, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you'll find."

So they wisely obeyed even though they still didn't know who He was. They cast their net into the sea one more time. Although they had been fishing all night with no results, this time they caught so many fish they weren't able to lift them into the boat!

Suddenly John recognized Jesus! "It's the Lord!" He exclaimed to Peter.

Then Peter hurriedly wrapped his coat around him and threw himself into the water to swim to Jesus.

The other disciples followed in a small boat dragging the net filled with fishes behind them. When they arrived on land, they found a coal fire burning and fish laid on it and bread too.

Jesus called to them, "Bring the fish you've caught."

So Peter dragged the net to land full of large fish -- all 153 of them! Even though there were so many fish, the net didn't break.

Jesus said to his disciples, "Come and eat."

None of the disciples dared ask Him Who He was since they know it was the Lord.

Then Jesus gave the hungry disciples bread and fish for breakfast.

This was the third time Jesus showed himself to His disciples after He risen from the dead.
