Evidence of The Resurrection

Did you know Eternal Life Is a Gift?

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself how long your life will be? There are many things you can do to help yourself be healthier, but you are only going to live so long. There are not many of us who will still be here 100 years from now!

So go ahead and try to be healthy by eating the healthiest foods you can, exercising, and getting the right medical care. But to live forever -- it's going to take something much more than that.

We need a completely new life that lasts forever!

But how are you going to get that kind of life?

This life can only come from God!

The Bible teaches that God is offering us eternal life. Want to learn more?

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell. He took the punishment we deserve. He rose from the dead three days later and is forever alive!

Now those who are spiritually dead can rise from the dead spiritually because of the life of Christ when He enters within us. And those who are spiritually alive because they have been saved will one day also be resurrected from the dead physically like Jesus was!

In order to receive this new life from God, we must stop trying to earn our way to heaven and instead trust in Jesus Christ alone.  If we are trusting even partially on how good we think or hope we are, that means we are not trusting in Jesus Christ 100%. To be saved from sin, we must trust Jesus Christ 100% instead of even one little teeny bit in ourselves.

Please read the following verses from God's Word which tell about God's wonderful plan of salvation.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

The book of Romans in the New Testament shows us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, no, not one. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

"The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

The Bible tells us that there is only one way to heaven! Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

We are all spiritually bankrupt and cannot pay the price to obtain eternal life. For by grace are you saved by faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9).

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).

Will you just now make a U Turn on the road of your life and turn away from running your own life? Will you trust Jesus Christ right now to save you from your sins?

You can't give yourself eternal life and you cannot earn it either. No one but Jesus can give you eternal life.

Jesus Appears to
His Disciples

And as they were talking together, Jesus himself appeared in the middle of of the group and greeted them with these words, "Peace be to you."

But they were terrified and thought they were seeing a ghost!

But He said to them, "Why are you so troubled and thinking such thoughts in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet that it I."

Then he showed them His scarred hands and feet.

The apostles were astonished but not ready to believe just yet.

Then He asked them, "Do you have anything to eat here?"

They gave him a piece of broiled fish and part of a honeycomb. He took it and ate it in front of them.

Then He explained, "I was trying to tell you before when I was with you that what has happened is written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms."

Then he opened their understanding so they could understand the Scriptures.

"You see, this is written in the Scriptures. They foretold that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and forgiveness of sentence should be preached in his name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things! Look, I'm about to send what the father hass promised upon you, so wait in Jerusalem until you receive power from on high."

Then He led the as far as Bethany and lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He was taken away from them and carried up to heaven.

The disciples worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they praised and blessed God continually in the temple.
